About us

We are here to make school CPD simpler, smarter, and more powerful

Our Vision

Every child deserves an excellent education. We believe that happens when teachers feel empowered, confident, and inspired. Our vision is to support educators and SLT to encourage real impact. We know that school CPD should be driving force that raises standards, builds stronger school cultures, and transforms outcomes for every learner.

At SakuraCPD, we are not here to overload schools with more to do. We are here to make school CPD development simpler, smarter, and more powerful.

Our Values

  • Impact – CPD that makes a real difference in teaching and learning.
  • Simplicity – Professional development that fits seamlessly into school life
  • Collaboration – Building shared vision and consistency across whole schools.
  • Empowerment – Supporting leaders and staff without adding pressure.
  • Excellence for all – Unlocking opportunities for every teacher and every child.

This isn’t just CPD. It’s a movement to raise the bar for every classroom, every teacher, and every learner. If you believe that great teaching changes lives then join us. Together we can give every child, in every school, the education they deserve.

Our Story

After years as a senior leader in primary schools, Shari was driven by the power and passion behind inspirational teaching and the impact this has on learning. Throughout her career, one thing became clear, Wednesday night CPD was overwhelming, rushed, and disconnected from real needs of teachers.

Shari created SakuraCPD with a simple but powerful idea: When professional development is focused, consistent, and built around the real needs of teachers and children, it transforms practice. It builds cohesion, clarity, and a strong shared vision across the whole school. Most importantly, it build a strong culture and improves outcomes for every child, no matter their starting point.

SakuraCPD has been designed to have real impact. Every module is online, flexible, and aligned with the DfE Teachers' Standards and Ofsted framework.
